Getting to and from Palm Cove
Palm Cove is about a 20-25min drive north of the Cairns Airport and approximately 40 minutes south of Port Douglas.
Cairns Aiport has a designated undercover Taxi Rank and Uber Pick Up Zones. We normally find that this is the most convenient and affordable method of transfer to Sanctuary for 1-3 people. If you are traveling with 4 or more people pre-booking a private transfer through us will be your best option.
We highly recommend two local shuttle and transfer service operators to our guests. Exemplar and Palm Cove Limousine have been servicing the Cairns, Palm Cove, and Port Douglas region for several decades. Private Transfer
Palm Cove Limousine offers a classic great-value private airport transfer experience.
The driver will meet you at your designated baggage carousel holding a Sanctuary Palm Cove sign. You will then be chauffeured by courteous drivers with extensive knowledge of Cairns and the surrounding areas. For those traveling late at night, a pre-checking experience is available, and the driver will take you directly to your apartment key in hand.
On return, the driver will meet you at the elevator of your apartment at a suggested time based on your flight details and local traffic conditions.
If you are traveling with an infant or toddler, they have baby seat options available at no extra cost.

Group Transfer
For large groups or family gatherings, we recommend Exemplar's fleet of vehicles as a transfer option. They are also great to help move groups around during a stay with us
